Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
The trees here are 1/2 colored now and it's getting awesome! I'll be doing photos tomorrow with tons of reds and yellows and oranges!
Sweet shots guyz! Flowers & sunsets def count since they don't last very long either!

Awesome shots Bob! We still dont have very many colored trees here but I did find this one!

Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
Being from Winnipeg, it's always surprising to see pics of open water with lots of snow in December. It's obviously not that cold where you are. Either that, or you have had a thaw recently.
Nice pics, though. |

Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
It's rare for us to have lasting snow in December as well, and some years we've even had a green Christmas!
Tonight with the windchill, we're sitting at -16°C...3°F! How's that for cold?! Hope it leaves by March. I'm sick of it already. : ) |

Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
Yeah, Southern Ontario is pretty mild. We have even had at least one Christmas with almost no snow. Very rare for us.
Try -27C with no windchill. I wish the snow would be gone by March! |

Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
Wow that's pretty cold for this time of year.
We'll see those temps as we get deeper into Jan & Feb. Yuck, I am not looking forward. They say when it comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb. We'll see... : ) |

Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
Not really. It's winter in Canada, so cold and snow. Although for southern Ontario, yes, it would be a bit cold. Unfortunately, the majority of Canada's population lives in zone 5 or up. For me, winter starts in November and ends in April.

Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
These are from our trip to Fort Scott, Kansas to see my parents. The trees there have already started to turn for fall!

Re: Autumn in the "Forest City"
Is this the right thread? I am really having problems finding threads tonight. Besides being soooooo slow...........Sorry Sherry if this is not the right one. I thought you had a fall colors or something like that and this is what I was able to find when I searched.
