I'm not sure if that was funny or just plain weired it just goes to show you that in the middle of the coldest winter on record that people are getting a bit stir crazy a. we should ask the Canadians Members what they do to keep winters sociological affects at bay

Thats why I put as "You make the call" Abuse or Bordom, The long cold winter has an effect on people, brought to mind the movie the Shining with Jack Nicholson, and the Cabin Fever thing, they also had videos of popping a balloon at -30 F* and it didn't pop, it just kinda fizzled down as the air ran out, same thing happens in the summer when it get really hot, people frying eggs on the hood of the car and such, science or bordom, I know my step kids got a kick out of the banana video!

I saw a weather man from CNN doing that this morning. Now it's even more weird that other people have thought to do the same thing. If this keeps up a 12 step program is going to be needed! It may not be an isolated incident. LOL

Pauly - did you ever wonder why so many of the world's great comedians and actors (Dan Aykroyd, Jim Carrey, the whole cast of SCTV, etc etc etc) are Canadian? Ditto to the grand profusion of Canadian bands? It's because of the winter. We figured it out early - it's better to laugh at each other and sing songs than it is to stab each other. Believe me, with the Canadian winter, those are the only options.

I'd say the banana hammer is more boredom and fun with the great outdoors than anything else.

You got it wrong man it's that time of year! The only time I go out voluntarily now is to take the dogs to the mountains for a walk and all days on Saturdays to hunt, even then we have a cabin to warm up in at the end of the day just so we don't have to go home so soon.
Think I'll take a cue from lorax and crank up an old "Guess Who" CD.

ok the who are great....but to warm up on these cold winter days you need:
pink floyd, ratt, winger, kiss, ted nuggett, dokken, motley crue. when you start slinging air guitar for a while you start to warm up. and yes bob i agree with you....kitty need dirt, kitty need dirt. lol!

Whaat?? No Greatful Dead?!!
I need sunshine & warm weather & to play in the dirt. I have warm socks & slippers on & my feet are cold. The furnace is running a lot....I see $$ signs blowing out of the vents. Temp is set at 67-68f. My skin is dry & I had a little bloody nose this a.m. from dry air. Coughing & sniffling.
Florida, here I come!
