Default Zoysia grass

Any body have any experince growing and maintaining zoysia grass lawn?
I am doing some landscaping in my front yard. I wanted to make a section of soft lawn. because i am fed up with this ichy st.augustine lawn. I purchased some cashmere soysia sods and started laying them on topsoil. If any body have any sugestions or advice please let me know?

I have some Zoysia El Torro, but the St. Augustine is taking over. Make sure you keep the St. Augustine away from it.

I have zoysia in my lawn that had spread from a neighbor. I hate it as it browns and stays brown all fall and winter. However, it does make a beautiful, thick carpet of grass when it finally greens up. Your call.
