Zapote De Ave, Tempisque (Sideroxylon capiri)
Order Ebenales, Sapotaceae Family. Used primarily for lumber. The fruits are round berries up to an inch diameter, greenish yellow when ripe. The fruits are edible, have a sweet flavor and a gritty texture. They are important food source for wildlife in Central America.
