I have some pear cactus and I am too ashamed of their condition to post a shot of them. I believe the soil I have them in is not draining well enough. Perhaps if i follow this thread I will get inspired to find some better soil for their pot.

I had a bunch of cold hardy cacti I grew in Ohio. Then 10 years ago moved to NC lost a lot from living in pots an staying too wet. Still have a bunch left an pieces of native ones here.

Here is my cactus. I don't know what kind. My grandfather grew it before he passed on. I swiped a pad posthumously as a remembrance. I am keeping it potted, as it can be invasive.
