Default White Apricot 'Moniqui'

If anyone is growing the white apricot variety 'Moniqui', I'd like to know about the growth habit, the fruit production, the zone you are in, etc.

Thanks!

Richard, I have had good luck with them in New Mexico 75 miles southeast of Gallup. The only thing the tree needed there was a lot of water, everyday from very early spring through the picking season. Gave abuntantly of delicious juicy fruit. I apologize for not knowing the zone. Hope that helps. I am no longer in NM I am in Ecuador now. Good luck, you won't be sorry for the efforts, time and water that you spend on the tree, because it will pay you back.

Do you have a that tree growing in your yard Richard? I have 4 kinds of apricot grafted in my plout tree and are avid fruit producers started last year. I am wondering if I can have a branch from you sometime in the future.
I am planning to see you at Encinitas Leucadia Farmers Market on Sunday October 25.

Benny, the 'Moniqui' is one of nine apricots I am considering. I will establish them as "mother plants" for scion wood. There are 2 other whites, 2 blacks, and the remainder orange-flesh fruits.
