What's wrong with my Clementine tree?

Hi everyone, new member but long time reader here, thanks everyone for providing all the great info here on this forum. Anyway, if someone could help me figure out what is wrong with my citrus that would be great. I've had this tree for about a year now and everything was fine but it has starting turning a sickly yellow color and losing lots of leaves over the past few weeks. It started to put out new growth and even some flowers but most of the growth died and many of the flower buds have burst open prematurely. I thought this was a simple fertilizer problem at first but i tried giving it some slow release citrus fertilizer in soil and also some fish emulsion foliar spray but nothing has had any effect. Any ideas on what could be the problem? Could this be an over watering issue? By the way it stays in a greenhouse at about 60-75 degrees and gets plenty of sun. Thanks

you change the soil ? ? old earth had not shaken from the roots : or may be lack of micronutrients , especially iron (Fe).
Wait for other opinions .Good luck.

What up
I don't claim to be a fruit tree guru but I have delt with this issue in a dwarf oranges .it ended up being fungus gnat larva and also had a bettle or ten down deep in the root ball . If you see any what look to be very small fruit flys in the dirt when you agitate it that could be a issue .
Good luck

More than likely it's overwatering...let the compost dry out, then thoroughly water, and then let dry out again. Resist the temptation to give a bit of water every day. This is the advice given by Martin Page in his excellent book 'Growing Citrus'. Recommended.
Remember also that citrus don't like hard water, so only use rain water.

I agree with barrie. You've probably over watered. Had the same problem with my clementine. I bought a moisture meter probe to check my soil. To my surprise I discovered the bottom of the soil/pot stayed constantly wet. I now use the probe to check the soil before watering. I only water when the plant is dry.my clementine is much happier now.

My Lemon is doing the same thing, but I'm sure the cool temps aren't helping much.. :^)

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I inspected the roots and didn't find any signs of any pests but the soil near the bottom of the pot was very wet. I think it is just an overwatering issue so I'll let the soil dry out good before I water it again
