The funny thing is the last link talks about how much fruit the tree bears if its really hot, and the one I posted talked about how big the fruit is.. I think the big part has to do w/ how small the seed is.. & looking to invade the American Market? Is this a GMO product?

I did, now my question is your opinion on what variety avocado will/would live and grow in the ground here in zone 9 in South Louisiana?

I have a reputation for executing Avocado Plants/Trees and I need a variety I can successfully grow to redeem my good name:}

No. It was a tree the farmer grew from seed. Here is an abstract from the 2007 World Avocado Congress:

If you're in zone 9a then you can redeem your good name by not growing Avocado!

I was there but think about how some place maneuver to sell Banana's by giving it another name.. Its just happens to be Avocado's.. You create a sweet tale of how plant overcomes certain death in cold conditions.. Is this talking about avocado's or a Carlina King or Texas Star, just saying.. I'd grow the hell out of your plant just to find out Amigo.. Hopefully this winter is an isolated event.. :^)
