Default What to do...

My son threw some papaya seeds into some pots and now I have a mess of plants growing out of the pot. Any recommendations or suggestiong on separating them to re pot in bigger pots?

Are they teeny, tiny and really close together? I would use a teaspoon as a little shovel and try to get them out that way. I think they grow really fast so I hope you have a lot of pots and potting soil. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

A couple of small forks will work ....whatever it takes , just get them apart now before they get too tangled to separate,assume you'll lose a few...(less stress being a pessimist in this case)and let your son have fun with what's left!.......atta boy!

Being they are small and your going to transplant them, flood the pot with water to loosen up the soil and carefully remove them.

My son got most of them in pots 45 of them. There still are a few in the other pot that need to be re potted...
