that's very true, I wish I could grow some Bing cherries god knows I love them. But I do have a cherry of the Rio Grande, which are sweet and juicy.
I am in zone 9b and we only have about 225-275 chill hours a year here.
And most of the good cherries require between 400-700 chill hours.

Are they any good? I'm trying to find a replacecement for cherries because when I eat them, I get kind of an allergic reaction... But I love the taste...

Take out the SC card and put it in the laptop.....no cord needed.

Happy 39th birthday...belated.

You do have enough chill to try the low-chill Minnie Lee / Royal Lee combination. They fruit even in places with virtually no chill (consistently <100 hr for my friend in Santa Monica, CA). You need both varieties together for pollination. The people I know who grow them say they are very tasty cherries. Not sure how they'd do in your climate, but you have enough chill.

the taste was great hint of grape with kiwi and very sweet, and took them 27 days from flower till I picked them. I never am good at waiting they could of stayed on 4-5 more days and might have been better but I loved them the way they were. Been raining a lot here lately and I did not want them to get watery tasting so I picked them. I got 10 more and it has just really started to bloom, so I will figure it out soon as when the best picking time is.
I will say this, they are very easy to grow and worth every bit of the effort to take care of them over the winter.
let me go take a couple pics of one that is blooming right now

American Beauty is one of my favorites. It takes about 35-40 days from flower to fruit here in coastal San Diego county.

I've been picking quite a few jaboticaba lately. This is the first year it has set a heavy crop for me. I bought it as a fairly large tree in 2008.
