Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
I just uploaded a lot of pics of the current bloomers to my gallery. It's surprising how little damage 4 nights of 40 degress could do.

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
Unbelievable- here it is with wet snow and sleet coming down outside, and I have the following outside blooming still--bougainvillea, trumpet angels, tropical hibiscus, mandevillea, seemania, banana, canna, NG impatiens, begonias, toad lilies, castor bean, water lily, water canna, lantana, dwarf hollyhocks, garden phlox, mums, and it's almost November!

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
My butterfly ginger is blooming and it has an amazing scent. Its nice to smell something tropical outside in November! The scent is really simiar to Gardenia, but actually a little stronger.
Here are some pics just before they opened! Some Azaleas are blooming too!

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
Janan, I'm in love with your orange double hib....so beautiful!
Alex, wow on your ginger. I can't get my gingers to bloom, except for the mioga Dancing crane. Congrats.....grrrrrrr...lol! On the other hand, my brugs are still blooming away inside, and the house is redolent with their fragrance in the evening. I also have a pot of hyacinths that decided since they're inside and warm it must be spring, so the kitchen smells spring-like!
