Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
I wish my camera was working so you coulsd see the beautiful yellow/peach blooms on the Inca Sun brug from Sandy. And what a fragrance in the evening! My tropical hibs are ocassionally throwing a flower, but are pretty much shutting down for the season. However, my hardy hibs are still blooming away on the new growth. And my tetrapanax has buds that I read will bloom later in the fall. the roses are extra pretty at this time of year, as the bugs are diminished and the blossoms are great. I'm still waiting on my large plumeria to bloom; the inflo is about 2 inches above a 3 inch stalk. I love this one; it's white with a yellow center but the aroma is the absolute best!

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
For years I have had nice seed pods, but I never saw the flower.
I finely saw the flower this week. The flower only opens up in the middle of the night. This will show you how I did it: ://togofcoralgables.blogspot.com/2010/09/tonght-i-saw-open-flower.html |

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
Blooming this morning in my indoor garden:
This sedum came from Texas in the form of cuttings recently and now they've rooted and are flowering... I love the way the little flowers look like mini pink lilies... Lots more buds that will bloom soon... Thanks Zac! : ) |

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
Thank you, Caloosamusa!
No, there doesn't seem to be a fragrance unfortunately, but they sure are pretty and long lasting little blooms. The cuttings were just a couple of 3 inch long pieces but they grew like crazy! I might throw some outside next Spring because I really love it. : ) |

Re: What is blooming in your garden today (other plants)?
Sedums give a lot for little, but some can become quite invasive as well, so just be sure to I.D. before planting out. Beautiful, just the same!
