What is this?

found it at ikea it looks like it has a purple flower? I thought the pink cone thing was the flower lol

please help me identify

It is indeed a bromeliad. Unfortunately I don't know it's scientific name. Enjoy it; I have had one for years, and it pups readily.

Tillandsia cyanea- aka Pink Quill. Purple flowers will open alternating from side to side up to the top- looks like this one is about done (then the mother plant dies). Hopefully you'll have some new pups forming at the base.
