Default Underwatered or Overwatered leaves?

Lots of my fig leaves are brown at the periphery. Is this under or over? I'll take a photo tomorrow in daylight.

Thanks,

Probably normal--my figs are already dropping leaves--not even starting to get cold. They brown around the edges and then drop.

As you can see, the new growth at the top is not affected by the browning (maybe not yet?), the rest of the leaves are brown at the edge.
