Default Tamarinds?

Several of the seeds sprouted, they're now about 2' tall, still in small containers. Can tamarinds survive 30 F in the winter if I put them in the ground? Do they even fruit in containers?
Thanks,

I grow tamarinds indoor in winter.

common thing they lose all leafs easily when sun exposition is changing (indoor to outdoor) or if they are repotted. First time they did, i have thought that i killed them.
