Default Sunflowers anyone?

I am actually having a little success growing sunflowers this year. I currently have some a little over 5 feet tall. Anyone else growing any?

I've got some shielding my Ae Ae. I figured it was a good idea since they grow fast (I needed them fast), and this variety grows to the 8-12 ft range, so I figured they'd be tall enough soon enough to do what I needed them to do, and since they were that height at maturity, they would be a good sun shield for quite a few months. As they reach 6 or 7 ft, I'll plant their replacements so I'd have a constant number of 'protectors' for the Ae Ae. At the moment, they are about 5 1/2 ft.

What would be a variety that tops out around six foot, is easy to find in seed and will grow in NW Florida zone 8b high humidity.

Our back yard went wild while we were out of town one spring, the resident squirrels "planted" sunflowers all over the place.
