Joy Squash Borers are getting all my squash. HELP!

Does any one have some organic recommendations for dealing with Squash Borers? They are attacking my squash plants.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Welcome to the community, I'm sure someone here will have experience with the borers.

Use an organic pyrethrin. For cost-effectiveness, compare the dosages (tablespoons per gallon) between products. In my local independent nurseries, the "Green Light" brand is the best value.

I've heard that you can spray the stems with Dipel; it has Bacillus thurengiensis (Bt) in it and that will help control them. I have the same problem every year in Houston with borers but I haven't tried Bt on my squash yet.
