Something For Free
 

I'm about to dig up and discard my Mexican petunia - Ruellia - so if anybody wants some let me know and I'll send it to you for postage, probably about$6.00. It's a pretty plant but let me warn you - It can become invasive. The butterflies and hummingbirds love it and it would be a good addition to the wild garden or for an area that you want to fill up and not worry about. I just need the room.

I still have a few 'gros michel' left for $7.00. Just a reminder so that I don't have to make room for a couple doz. banana plants.

Oh, the Mexican petunia is the tall blue/purple one.

Those Mexican Petunias even come back for me up here in zone 7 (with mulch). In fact, they are coming up now. I love them, but like you I've had to discard a lot of them. They do a little too well, but are beautiful and the butterflies and hummingbirds seem to agree.
