Default Question on pineapple plants..

My son planted the pineapple plants in pots with really bad soil. When I repot them can I gently remove all the roots from the poor soil and repot them in new soil without any problems?

Yep, the only problem would be, if the plant was flowering or you damaged the roots somehow.

I have pineapples blooming in pots a little over 5 gallons, but 10 would be better. The plant will get almost 4 ft across before it blooms.

Get the bad soil wet and then lay the plant out on a table sideways. Pull the pot off, and then rinse the old soil off with water close to the air/soil temperature.
