Please identify.
Here are the photos of the two grasses i found at Six Flags STL.
Whet are they and are they hardy? OK well I cannot figure out how to get the photos on here so i will put them in my photo album....please let me know. Thanks |

Looks like Purple Flax to me. Do a google image search. I used to grow it in my front yard. Actually we had that and purple fountain grass, now we just have green flax.

I think it looks like fountain grass. If it is, it's not hardy below 20 degrees.

Ok I know its not fountain grass, the blades get about 1" wide and the plant gets about 4'-5' tall

I checked with a friend there who brought it back from Charleston, SC, and she said they tag actually said Pennisetum 'princess'. There is also a large form called 'prince'.
