I was just given the plant today.Not sure what the white is.Maybe it's a virus of some kind or that could be natural for all I know about them.

Looks like Salvia 'Black and Blue'. (Formal description-Salvia guaranitica 'Black and Blue'

BLUE ANISE SAGE.) I love the color contrasts, and grew this for 3 years until winter finally did it in. More info-
