Re: Phoenix Robellinis seeds How to Grow it?
Hi well could be a pygmy but could be a noir Phoenix dactylifera (True Date Palm) or bread date. They are slender and grow faster than pygmies but can be setup like pygmies. So if they a couple feet in the next couple years you'll know they aren't pygmies. You may have a nice snack in the pic. Put seeds in rich thin layer soil on a plate, moisten and cover with saran wrap, and put in warm area like above a water heater, moisten daily but don't soak. Canary Island date palms are easier to germinate.

Find a good media.. Mist not soak and put in a sealed container on a heating pad for about 3 weeks. I'd check it everyother day on the second week.
