Default Passion fruit vine.

I have one planted that I brought home from Michigan and it is huge. Flowering like crazy but no fruit is setting as of yet. Does this plant need a second plant to cross pollinating? Or does only some varieties set fruit?

That's a Passiflora edulis variety of some sort. It's not particularly hardy. Hand pollinating the flowers helps.

If you hand pollinated and it does not set fruit you need pollen from another plant.

Yep, some hybrids won't set fruit unless they get crossed, a particularly annoying habit for those of us who have a desirable cultivar (like P. incense) & would like to propagate.

If you're after seed, you may be out of luck & need to propagate from cuttings.

If you're after fruit, I'd be happy to send ya some P. amethyst cuttings for you to root (or seeds) for the cost of postage, that way you can let the bees do the work for you.

I found some fruit!!!
The ones that got a lot of wind were the ones that set fruit. So I guess pollination is needed.
