This Caryota isnt C. gigas or C. obtusa. It may be C. mitis(if its clumping then thats for sure,if its not,it isnt),Caryota ochlandra, C. urens or C. maxima.

Those seeds can be S. palmetto seeds.

Given its small stature, i would say Caryota ochlandra is more likely.
