Cool Orin's Front Yard Mini Apple Orchard

I planted a mini apple orchard in the landscaping of my front yard. I set up trellising for these ultra-dwarf trees. I did plant these a little too closely together. Since my orchard is comprised of just a few trees, I figured that they could take just a little overcrowding. The ultra-dwarfs are created by grafting a budding apple branch (scion) onto the stem-base and roots from a smaller tree that is known to have compatible genetics. I believe M27 rootstock was used for these trees. The trellis is required, as the roots are weaker and will not support the weight of the tree. I purchased these trees from Low's 50% off end of season sale. I have three different varieties: Dorsett Golden, Anna, and Fugi. They came from Pacific Groves - The Patio Orchard - Ultra Dwarf Patio Fruit Trees. This website has a cool idea for creating a patio orchard w/ ultra dwarf in containers.
Here is another ultra-dwarf info web-site:

Anybody have any tips, advice, and/or feedback?

That should make a pretty espalier tree area when they get just a little growth on them. Nice set up!
