Re: My Aero~Garden...
You must have missed it. Here was my geranium as of a couple nights ago...
The marbles under my special light are doing ok but I didn't realize I had a few pests on them. I knew they were growing rather slowly and when I looked underneath the leaves I saw many spider mites. I've got full control now though and they're growing again. I'll show them soon. Winterberry shrublets are just not indoor plants and they eventually die inside. They're an evergreen and they like the outdoors. I'm gonna re-order some more in Spring and will send you a couple too Janan. I kept the ones I had going for awhile but they always go downhill after a short time inside and they die off. Ok well I have a packet of fresh marble seeds for you as well. Christmas is over so I'm gonna mail a few things out next week. : ) |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
Which color is that geranium Sherry? I guess I did miss it! How about your multi petunias, any blooms yet? Mine got spider mites and wiped it out. I will be started a new AG probably tomorrow and will try to start another one then. I am really anxious to see them in real life. I have been fighting them this winter more than I ever have had. I guess because our humidity is usually high and it hasn't been this year. Even showering and misting hasn't really helped this year, I got some Neem oil though and that does the trick. The little bastages!

Re: My Aero~Garden...
I think it's pink. We'll soon see...
Damn mites...if I keep stuff showered I never see them. I usually catch them in time though before they wipe stuff out entirely. Not always though. They're deadly those suckers. : ( |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
I'm hoping it will be that pink striped one. That was SOOOOO pretty! If they sneak in and are really bad I just chunk the plant, but I have had some that I just babied along this time and I didn't want to lose. Makes me feel a little better if you get them occasionally too. Not that I'm glad you get them. That didn't sound right, but I know how good you take care of your plants and still get them.

Re: My Aero~Garden...
It's ok...I know what you mean!
Yup, sometimes I'm guilty of neglecting certain plants and I usually pay the price for it...or the plant does! I took out my Little Blue and my Explosive Amber plants. I got bored of them and wanted something new. It's not the striped pink geranium Janan but I still have that one in my window. : ) |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
Have you replaced them yet? Did you just pot them up or what? I know what you mean about getting bored with something.

Re: My Aero~Garden...
I'm ashamed to admit that I chucked them!
Pepper plants are just too plentiful around here to save every little one. : ) |

Janan, did ya read Luke's question?
Ok here's one of my yummy little berries tonight... I sowed a couple more Alpine seeds tonight in an empty pod. My geranium is looking so pretty. Here it is tonight... : ) |

Aw i hear you. same happened to mine. I was growing them in a mini-greenhouse but as soon as i potted them up and moved them to a new(cooler) location with less light they dropped all of their leaves. I figured it would just be easier to start some new seed in the spring. Goji are doing well, i need to actually pot them up again, as they still tend to dry out before i get to them and so i've had to prune off some dead branches but i suppose that may encourage more. they are in 32oz yogurt containers. the problem is as i pot things up i have less and less space!! My goal is to keep them happy until spring and then pot them up in a large container and let them grow outside all season, and actually try to keep them out for the winter on the porch. -Luke |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
I just started a couple of Dwarf Papayas again this morning Luke. They are so easy to grow and so beautiful I just had a hankering again since we were talking about them.
Trimming your Goji will make them branch out and get thicker. Sherry made me trim mine and they did thicken up quite a bit. Here are some updates on some of mine again: ~J
