Re: My Aero~Garden...
I looked in my AG and the pansy seeds are already swelling and I can see a little tip of root coming out of the seed. Part of my AG gets some coolness from a vent nearby. The mornings have been chilly in my house. I saw some pretty bush marigold seeds and some red hot poker seeds but I those would have been too big for my aero garden

Re: My Aero~Garden...
See in the background of this picture, to the left, an Antonhi pepper blushed with red? I wonder when they turn creamy white because that's what they're supposed to do...
This is that geranium I transferred into my A-G blooming today... : ) |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
Go for it, Cam! You can prune it easily if it gets too big. The blooms will be gorgeous. Geraniums are one of my most favorite flowers because they're so reliable and giving.
Here's my double petunia sprout today... Oh and yes my Jigsaw pepper does have a tail now... So does my Aurora pepper seed also! Nothing on the miracle fruit or the banana passion flower just yet but it's too soon for them anyway. : ) |

I'll see if its still there. It was very leggy and it was only a single stalk. Congratulations on the sprouts

Re: My Aero~Garden...
Fish Pepper
JigSaw Pepper They are so cute! Sherry I didn't know that a white pepper turns reddish first. That is kind of backwards from the Hot Marble. I think purple, then white with them. I had mites wipe out and entire AG while I was traveling a few months ago, because I wasn't home to mist and bathe them. It was my original French Vanilla, and my Fish Pepper and maybe a Petunia, I can't remember what else I had in that unit. I can see white underneath the green of the double petunia. That's probably not the color though. ~J

Re: My Aero~Garden...
I'm not surewhat color the blooms will be unfortunately. I may even wait until spring when they have a fresh shipment of geraniums. My fish pepper has 3 peppers on it.

Re: My Aero~Garden...
If there's one thing I've got Cam...it's a lot of geranium seeds!
Next time I mail to you I'll include some. Here are my strawberries in my A-G tonight... Aren't they so pretty as they ripen? I just LOVE them. : ) |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
I can see why Cam. They certainly do have a Christmassy look to them...
Kinda exciting and confusing all at the same time, but my Antonhi peppers are turning something other than a creamy white! They almost look like they're turning chocolate... Guess I'll just wait and see what happens to them as they ripen. Maybe they turn whitish later. My Hahm's Gelbe tomatoes are getting really yellow now... "Explosive Amber" hot peppers... New blossoms on my 'little blue' hot pepper plant... "French Vanilla" white marigold sprout... Double petunia... Beginnings of "Jigsaw" hot pepper germinating... Still waiting for Miracle Fruit seed to pop... Lots of A-G action! : ) |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
Not sure how to turn off my three-pod system every night at the same time. It seems to be different than the others and I lost the manual.
I cannot believe how quickly the Aurora seeds came up for me. They popped in two days. That's the fastest I ever had a pepper seed germinate. I sowed them directly from the fruits without drying them first. WOW is all I can say! So I can't wait to remove the colorado blue spruce seeds from the freezer in a couple weeks and see how many sprouts I get. I'm determined to grow a little spruce tree in my A-G. If I get more than one sprout I could grow some in pots for fun and give them away. Do you water and feed on a scheduled day each week or 2 weeks, you guys? I think my Impatiens seed is gonna split soon. Nothing yet on the banana passion flower seed. : ) |

Re: My Aero~Garden...
I'm gonna set my little system tonight. Thanks so much for the link, Janan. I had no idea it was so different from my other ones.
Actually changing the clock back on the weekend really screwed with my systems and now they're shutting off at 9:30 instead of 10:30. Gonna reset them all tonight. : ) |
