Microsorum musifolium 'Crocodyllus'

Will these grow in trees like a staghorn fern?

No, they are terrestrial. They are a form of birdnest fern. They might grow that way in a zone 10+ climate but not lower, as its alwasy colder in the trees than on the ground. I grow them here under tree canopy. If you'd like to see a photo LMK

I took one but have to get it loaded. Went for a 14 mile marathon training run today then had to drive 2 hours up and 2 hours back to get my teenager from the airport...will try to post tomorrow, sorry for the delay

A marathon huh? Impressive. I can't chase my 3 and 4yr olds around for more than 5min.

While we are at it posting pictures, here is a pic of the spot where I planted the heliconia. That is the 'Orange Gyro' against the house.

That little orange BOP to the left is putting out two disfigured leaves at once. Is this a 'flag leaf' event? Does strelitzia reginae do that?

Here is some Bambusa chungii 'Barbellata' that I planted about 2 months ago. It has sent up 6 new culms. I buried the little culms today in an effort to 'ground layer' and get some new plants.
