Jade vine seeds
 

This year my jade vine matured 6 seed pods. Five pods were given to a commercial grower. I potted 9 seeds from the remaining pod. These will all be giving away. It's free but you have to pick it up at my home. The seed is fertile for such a short time that I can't wait and then send them by post.

That is fantastic! The colour of the flowers is unreal and you are obviously doing everything right to get seed pods too. The jade vine has always been one of my personal favourites, and I carry a plant book in the car ready to whip out and show the picture to every new plant seller I find. No luck yet, but one day......

The seeds have started to grow and need homes. They should be planted out in the yard as soon as possible.

The jade vine seedlings are growing so fast I have to get a home for them by next Wednesday. Then I will give the last ones to a commercial nursery. A friend stopped by last week and said his jade vine was bigger then mine. He also said that he bought his for $60 and it was a small plant.

wrong coast, dang! What a beautiful plant though, maybe next time I can plan ahead and pay for overnight service?
