Sherry; I am curious as to why you would remove the leaves from your tomato plant. Won't the tomatoes ripen faster with more energy provided by photosynthesis from those leaves that are removed?

It might be a concern when the leaves and plant are young Drew but I find that when the crop is ready and ripening, the leaves are old and yellowing anyway. I remove the ones that are dying off, to get more sun at my tomatoes. The great thing too is that when you remove a tomato leaf, another begins to grow in it's place within a few days.

I'm still harvesting fruits from my plant. Here's a shot I took earlier today...

I love cherry tomato plants! They are the ONLY tomato plant that did well for me. All the others get eaten up by bugs.

Sorry Sherry; I had not seen in any other pictures that those leaves were dying! I would not thought anything of pulling those myself.

Mostly all the leaves are yellowing now Drew, but new ones are growing. ;)

Blake, I'm not sure if you're in this thread but here are a few of your "chilly" chili peppers today...

You're drowning in a sea of peppers! :ha:

That QuickSilver sure is a beauty! And I love all the leaves coloring! Did I see you post a picture of your Red Head Lettuce in a thread, or was that your coleus?

No, that's Coleus. I grew the red lettuce for Henry and just kept harvesting the new tiny baby leaves for him to eat, until it got too hot and the plants bolted.

Yes, Quicksilver is one of my favorite geraniums and this plant is doing exceptionally well. There's a lot more buds on it than you can see in the picture. I love the soft shade of pink.

Yup, peppers are everywhere here! :ha: I pick and eat then daily. They're all hot and delicious so how can I resist. Yummy. I'm already planning a dinner for today, and of course including them in the recipe.

Soon time to water a few plants...
