Default Growing Glass gem corn

I am growing several varieties of corn for the first time and would appreciate any advise. Growing blue jade, red butcher, black Aztec. And glass gem corn. How often should I water and how to I prevent cross pollinating.

to prevent cross pollination it is necessary to keep the plants a good distance apart, at least 100 foot. I only woory about that when I want to save seed, other times it doesn't matter to me. Google each and see what is recommended. Good luck and good growing.

If you want to prevent cross pollination, you cover the ears and tassles. You could also plant each variety about 14 days apart assuming they have the same maturity.
