![]() I am growing several varieties of corn for the first time and would appreciate any advise. Growing blue jade, red butcher, black Aztec. And glass gem corn. How often should I water and how to I prevent cross pollinating.

![]() to prevent cross pollination it is necessary to keep the plants a good distance apart, at least 100 foot. I only woory about that when I want to save seed, other times it doesn't matter to me. Google each and see what is recommended. Good luck and good growing.

![]() If you want to prevent cross pollination, you cover the ears and tassles. You could also plant each variety about 14 days apart assuming they have the same maturity.
