Grass? We don't need no stinking Grass!
Environmentally lawns make a large detrimental impact on aquatic systems with golf courses being particularly bad because of their acreage. IFAS (Inst of food Agri Services of UF) is trying to develop better practices for applying water and nutrients and also better grasses for the golfing greens and ultimately for general lawns.
