just got into carnivous plants and can't help much. Will watch this post and hope to learn more, am currently on several carnivous plants forums and learning a lot. Do you grow any other kind? Would love fresh seed when available since the stuff I got online doesn't seem to be very viable. Good luck and good growing.

Yeah... Usually the energy spent to create the flower ends up killing the plant... Or so I have read... Once I read that, I started cutting the flower as soon as I see it...

I have a VFT that I bought at Lowe's for $.25 a few years ago... It was in such bad shape that it took almost a year before it was healthy... It's taken a beating, but still catches bugs every day...

I have a hanging Pitcher Plant as well... They leave my back porch irritation free... Not sure what to do with the Pitcher in the winter... I'll have to do some research...

Pitcher will do fine in a mild temp room with bright light. Mist it once awhile. Just make sure it's not near a bad draft or heat vents. Mine is putting out flowers which never heard of them or seen that happen. Yeah lowes has VFT's here for sale as well, but need to chill out on buying plants

These flowers are tiny on the hanging basket and no idea on the seeds.
