Default Dragon Fruit flower buds, is this it????

After waiting close to 3 years, seeing lots of growth, but no flowers, I'm cautiously optimistic about these 2. What say you DF experts?

How long will it be before they become an edible fruit? I counted 4 of them!

I recounted, and found 6, instead of 4. These things show noticeable growth daily, I photographed them every 2 days, and the difference is significant. Another reason why growing plants is so cool.

Supposedly these are Vietnamese Giant, so they don't require pollination. But since I'm not 100% sure of the cultivar, if I go ahead and hand pollinate, will I damage the flowers if they turn out to be the kind that don't require hand pollination?

If you use a small artist brush you won't harm the flower.Maybe hand pollinate two and see what happens.
