'Cleopatra' is a great canna with awesome foliage and flowers. I've grown it for 2 or 3 seasons now.

How often do you get the red petals in the bloom?

UT Gardens has this one planted in several areas, and I like it also. The different flower colors is another cool attraction, besides the foliage.

How often you get the red mixed with the yellow seems pretty random. My particular plants seem to have red most often when the temps are a bit cooler. As it gets hotter I see mostly yellow with a few flecks of red. However, occasionally, I'll get a pure red one in the heat of summer. There really seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.
