love the Boo and i think Boo is Cool >>LOL
just too chicken to try it.. thought bananas were a lot of work until i read on how to control "BOO" |
Re: A Couple of Bamboo Pics...
S-G...Just stick with the subtropical clumpers that will survive in your area and you shouldn't have a problem. Bambusa pervariabilis viridistriata "Sunburst Bamboo" will take temps down to 20 deg F...
![]() ...and the Bambusa multiplexes will go down to 12 deg F. No root pruning or containment needed...just plant...water...fertilize...kick back...relax and enjoy...:D ...Z |
Re: A Couple of Bamboo Pics...
hmm
well it would need to be Bambusa multiplexes as i'm in zone 7b or 8 depending on map you look at.. suppose i need to google them to see. i don't think we've been below 15F without wind added in and i do have zone 8 plants returning last couple of years.. do you know anyone that might want to trade a piece? sugarloaf pineapple ( small 4" pot ), dwarf orinoco cut off pup with softball size corm or sell? one more thing, how big is clump 5'x5'? thanks for the quick reply |
