If the leaf structure was just a little bigger, and the birds wouldn't spread the seeds around the yard, I might allow this guy to grow in the yard with the castor, lol ![]() ![]() ![]() Since the cold has done a number on this guy already a googled it and found this pic of a better looking one. ![]()

![]() Don't plant it in your yard unless you like to weed! The only way to get rid of them is to dig them out of the ground. They get much bigger around here.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokeweed I recall my friends grandpa telling us that you could eat it if it was cooked correctly . Seems its really poisonous . I never thought about it till I read this thread and saw some 4-5 footers today . I decided it was time to look it up ! Neat . |
