Also known as Mexican Hydrangea, DO NOT plant this plant in your yard! It spreads like chickenpox.

It stinks bad too.

Well, I really don't know. Not having been to Mexico I can not speak from personal experience. There are quite a few plants that have geographical names that have nothing to do with their geographical name.

And here you go: it's not from Mexico, it's native to China and northern India!
