In this case; One man's need is definitely another man's poison - that's what these plants are!

Re: Brug Lovers!!
Tog,
Just wondering how well Brugs do in your climate? I currently grow and sell about 40 varieties of Brugs and counting. Michael

Re: Brug Lovers!!
Hi Michael, how have you been? Long time no hear from you.
Even though I was not interested in the Brugs until I saw Mark's Variegated Snow Bank, I hardly saw Brugs here. Well, I can't miss them for their flowers. I took a cutting from my friend and just stuck it into a pot of soil and within a couple of days, it started to leaf. I guess they like it here though they are not popular. |

Re: Brug Lovers!!
I decided to 'stop and smell the brugmansias' this evening. It's so wild, the contrast in their fragrance. My white ones smell exactly like lemon thyme and my pinks smell like baby powder.
I saw a very large spotted moth on these and my passifolia(leaves, no blooms on those yet), but couldn't get a pic in the failing light. It wasn't the hummingbird type moth, this one had orange spots and 'normal' wingbeats. |
