Default Blue Crocus

Here's a photo of some Blue Crocus blooming happily away, right on time in late January - early February. These were sold to me about 8 years ago as Crocus sativus (Saffron Crocus), but they are missing the enlarged stigmas of that species. I haven't found any photos of matching species, so apparently it is a hybrid from some breeder.
