I tried to post this in classified but aparently I don't have the 30 credits I need. So if anyone would like some balsa tree seed for free - please pm me. Beautiful tree, big white flowers, interesting seed pods, good model airplane material ......
The tree finally released its seed today after last nights rain - I have been watching it for almost 2 months now but it must be like the pot that never boils while you watch it. Germination information available courtesy of Ron (The Flying Dutchman who did all the legwork for it). I am just drying the seed off and it will be ready to go probably on Friday or early next week - whenever I can get to the post office. Cassie |

Cassie, I meant to tell you that I've got four nice, young, healthy Balsa Trees from the seed you gave me last year. Thanks!
