I just measured the shoot again - It's like 31 inches about. I hope it grows that much next year too lol.

I love how you have so many kinds of trees. I don't have any of Peterson's but they seem so good.. maybe some day I'll buy one of his trees. Do you think seeds from his fruit trees would be good? I bought susquehanna pawpaw seeds and they are growing they are tiny sprouts this year like 4 inches tall.. I mean couldn't they have the potential to be just as good as a Susquehanna since they are from the same lineage of excellent genetics? That's what I've been told

My one tree has 4 flower buds.. I don't think it will actually fruit but the growth was very strong this year on one particular seedling tree and I was so shocked to see flower buds.. they look like maroon furry kiwis lol - not exactly but it looks very cool - it's only been in the ground since April 2016 so maybe in 3 years it will bear some fruit - I'm bracing myself for 5 though lol

Good morning everyone! I don't want to jump too soon, but i think this time i will be lucky with my pawpaw! I already have 6 flowers that were polinated. They already loose the petals, mantain the green part in the middle of the flower and continue in the tree without falling. I'm very happy and praying to get pawpaws for the first time!

Thank you very much! I have a second pawpaw tree with 5 flower buds too but not opened yet. To assure more flower polination this time i put my juice fiber waste on soil below the tree to atract fruit flies and some sugar spread on tree, flower buds and soil to atract ants. Maby this can help...

That's awesome! It's still early on for me.. I am excited to see mine grow they seem like they are going to take off this year. I see lots of leaf shoots swelling. My NC-1 graft is alive this year and it starting to swell so I'm excited about that.. and I'm going to try grafting 'Sunflower' onto one of my seedlings..

Sounds like everything is going according to plan. Which tree is the one that is carrying fruit at this moment?

Glad to hear that pawpaws are coming to life!
Two of my three trees have flowers and this is the first year for me to see flowers.

My spring was pretty cold so the flowers have yet to open. Pics attached!

Wow! Your trees got big! That's so cool to see flowers. This is the start of your 4th growing season with the pawpaws right? They really got big last year huh. I hear you about the cold my pawpaws are just starting to swell in their leaf buds a little.
