![]() I think one or two died, but not because of the cold. They're outside in a big pot, and the hottest zone of my backyard next to the nanners, and looking pretty good.

![]() My beautyberry shrubs have been pushed down to the ground, flat as pancakes, from the weight of the heavy wet snow.
![]() Some of the branches broke off too so I brought them inside... ![]() : ) |

![]() Very true Zac!
![]() The roots are still intact. ![]() Guess I just had my heart set on a beautiful Winter show this year. The shrubs are not totally destroyed though and in fact today I noticed they are starting to spring back into their position before the snow fell. ![]() Only some of the branches broke off, but luckily not all of them. : ) |

![]() I collected some seeds from within the tiny purple berries last fall and here's a seedling sprouted from one of the seeds...
![]() I covered the soil lightly and kept it moist. They took about 2 weeks to germinate and this was one of the seedlings I kept. : ) |
