Alocasia Robudora Super Max Progress....
For those interested in EE's. This the new hybrid for A.odora and the large leaved A. Robusta. It's supposed to be has hardy as Odora but, I don't plan on testing hardiness yet...not worth the risk, but next year we'll see.
This was the picture of it 6-16-11- a tiny 4" pot: ![]() This is it in August: Here it is today- roughly 4 months later: ![]() I'm pretty impressed with the growth so far- its gotten bigger than the borneo giant I tried last year- and produced a few pups. It seems to have done well considering that it was planted in June... Before anyone asks...I signed a "non distribution" agreement when I bought it- so no trades until it becomes released for wide distribution...

How large do you think it will grow for you? Have always loved the look of ee's and have just recently started getting back into them. Please keep up with the pics and info. Thanks

No way to tell, but judging by the pedigree- it has a lot of potential.
I'll overwinter it inside and see how big it gets next year.
