Default Re: Alocasia, anyone?

I bought some taro tubers in a grocery store. They are Colocasia esculenta. They were cheap, only 69¢ a pound. I bought a pound, and got 10 of them. I called them my seven cent ees. They were very quick to sprout; just about a week. The leaves aren't as big as some of the others, but quite nice, anyway, and for 7¢...

Nice! How large are the leaves in the photo? How long did it take to get from tubers to that stage?
Thanks,

My picture was from several years ago, so I don't remember all the specifics but, judging from the date, I would say they're about 2 months old, and they're in a one gallon (6 inch) container.
