Default Banana on a stick

This is a really common snack, especially in the jungle.

You need:

Just-ripe bananas
Robust bamboo skewers
A charcoal grill, like a hibachi

Peel and skewer the nanners, then grill them lightly over hot charcoal.

Ta-dah. Easy, wasn't it?

I've also had these fresh off the grill and dipped in chocolate.

Also popular and sold commercially:

1 ripe (no spoilage) banana on popsicle stick, dipped in chocolate -- often with chopped nuts, then frozen.

It's actually easier to chocolate-dip them after they're frozen, rather than before. But frozen nanners isn't really something I've seen here - they seem to be a room-temp or hotter type food.

Odd, for a tropical climate, but there it is.
