New Sub-Forums

What's yalls opinions on the new forums "Cold Hardy and Species"? I wont state mine, LOL! Mediahound, Is there anyway it could be put in the page with the Main Discussion, instead of on the home page? Unless everyone likes it. I have talked to a few people who don't like it. I think it is handy, if it was on the Discussion page.

It -is- weird when you first open the discussions page and see those sub-forums, but maybe... just maybe.. I can deal.

I think its kinda confusing. I know I am on another set of fora ( the International Palm Society) and it has many places to post in, and I have trouble keeping up with where things are. Maybe too many subforums are not always a good thing. This is just my opinion.

Like, if people don't want it on the Home Page, could it be just on the Discussion Page instead? As it is. It seems better in my opinion if it was just on the Discussion page like it is now. I mean, just a suggestion

It could be setup that way, but to give it better exposure, I added it to the homepage.
When I first set it up, it was that way for a few minutes. I then went back in and added it to the homepage.
Let's get a quorum and we'll take it from there.

Alright, sounds great. I just thought it was a little intimidating and a little too much to look at. But, now that I see why, its all good!

The smileys rotate. To see them all, click the [More] link underneath where they show up. Click the smiley that you like in the window that opens up, and it will paste it where your cursor is in the textbox automatically.

basically, if you have any threads you want moved around, let me know and I'll get them sorted.

I do appreciate the feedback and I hope other members will chime in.
I don't want to make the place more confusing, rather, the opposite, I added the new forums because they were requested and because I also agree that it would be helpful to locate specific information.

I find it confusing the way it is now. Don't make them sub forums. If you want them, just make them a separate forum like for sale, recipies, etc. The way it is, they show up on the main menu as a new entry in both places.

And I'm WAY too old to accept change.
