Email Notifications

How do I turn off my email notifications for new posts on subscribed threads. I already went to User CP and changed my options to 'no email notifications' but it still sends me the same email messages as before!! I don't know what else to do! It was nice to have such notifications when I was new, but now I get so many I just would rather opt out.

What you have described doing, has always worked for me. Perhaps it is working for future but not for past subscriptions?

Something else you can try is going Quick Links >> Subscribed Threads >> select the box next to "Notification" then near the bottom right of page use the drop down arrow and select "Delete Subscription"

Okay, sweet...I figured it out. Changing the notification setting in the User CP only applies it to future (and not past) subscriptions. So by going through my list of subscriptions, I was able to change all my old ones to 'no email notification' as well. It took a while to do and was a little tedious, but luckily I only had 24 pages of subscriptions and you can select options for an entire page in four clicks. I think I'll be good now.
