I get mine from neighbors and out of the forest floor with my truck. I project a thousand pounds of bananas this year but I chopped up everything for propagation and moving things around.

My neighbors use or burn their yard debris. My woods/forest is too thick with under brush sweep up liter. ... Might be a possibility of getting litter from the crops & fields in the fall. But the cotton stalks would have to be ran through a chipper/mulcher to be usable. .... Noooo... buying fertilizer is much easier and cheaper for now. ...
