aLL CAPS

Is there a quick and easy way to change caps to lower case without retyping the message? I, not infrequently, will hit the caps button in error and when I look up from typing 6 lines, I see that my message is f'ed up. Probably a stupidly quick fix, but I'm stupid, so help!

I'm an old 4 finger typist who must look at the keyboard. I can do a good 40 words per minute if anyone remembers typing on a typewriter nowadays.
